Makhno è il one man project di Paolo Cantù, membro fondatore di band quali Tasaday, Afterhours, Six Minute War Madness, A Short Apnea, Uncode Duello. Ha suonato inoltre in numerosi side project tra cui End Of Summer, Four Gardens In One, Ear @ Now, Damo Suzuki Network, Anatrofobia. Dopo l'album di esordio Silo Thinking (2013), primo sotto il moniker Makhno e il successivo The Third Season (2015) ecco a tre anni di distanza Leaking Words, ancora una volta a nome Makhno, e anche questa volta suonato, registrato e mixato in completa solitudine. L’album in vinile 12” vede il contributo dell'immancabile Federico Ciappini alla voce nei brani La Ragazza in Coma e Attese, oltre a quello di Hysm?, voci in Sunday Clouds, Andrea “Marsala” Bordoni, voce in Can the World be as sad as it seems? e Chiara Mattioli, testo in Techno (Berlino inSottofondo).
